Prince recently returned to the vault to re-record the tune Extraloveable (the original track was recorded back in '82.) The result can be heard below. Enjoy.

Jono Mccleery
Got this little gem sent over by a friend. Can't believe I've missed out on all the goodness delivered by the Londoner Jono Mccleery. Don't know where to start describing Mccleery's sounds. There's bits of Nick Drake and James Buckley, hints of Fink (who's backing up on the album) and James Blake, at times resembling with Grizzly Bear - but essentially it's all done in a very personal manner. Listen to Tomorrow and Fears below, taken from Mccleery's latest album, There Is, released via Ninja Tunes - available in its entirety on Spotify.
Oh, I forgot to mention - Jono has toured with the likes of Gil Scott Heron, Bonobo, Fink, Jose Gonzales, Little Dragon, Jamie Woon, Portico Quartet...

Bon Iver
Here is the first visuals from Bon Iver's upcoming digital re-release of his sophomore album which drops tomorrow. Instead of including bonus tracks and outtakes, the band is throwing in visual accompaniments for each of the 10 songs on the album - "said to be best experienced on a mobile device with headphones on". To better understand it, read the press release below:
Comprised of individual visual works that both complement and enrich the audio on the album, the video accompaniment was in itself another year in the making. Featuring work by Dan Huiting, Isaac Gale, David Jensen, JoLynn Garnes and Justin Vernon, the video work is meant to be consumed as a visual extension of the music, to enhance each listener’s experience with one of the year’s most acclaimed albums. While not music videos per se, these visual accompaniments are striking in their distinctive atmosphere, and compelling works in their own right.

Watch the first official video from Toronto's super hyped The Weeknd, directed by Mikael Colombu. I'm definitely not a big fan of the visuals below, however The Weeknd is a must to check out for those of you who haven't. The Knowning is of the Canadians critically acclaimed mixtape House Of Balloons released earlier this year. Download House Of Balloons and the latest addition, Thursday, HERE.

Oliver Tank
A little James Blakey-vibes here from 21-year old Sydney producer Oliver Tank who just released his debut Ep, Dreams, via Yes Please. Super chilled electronic treats throughout the Ep and at times Tank's voice reminds me of Swedish musician/singer, José Gonzales. Listen to Dreams below and/or go get it over at bandcamp.

Saint Motel
Like every Saint Motel song, the meaning is open to (and encouraged for) interpretation. In some ways, “At Least I Have Nothing” is a fucked up look at the bright side of utter despair. When you have nothing, maybe that nothingness is actually something… freedom. - Saint Motel, LA

Hawa
Some of you might remember Hawa, and her funky cover of Justice's D.A.N.C.E., that I posted last year. This summer, the soulful french singer released her first full length My Little Green Box, through Favorite Recordings. Working together with Patchwork (prod. also working with Mr President), Hawa brings such soulful and timeless vibes. Listen to Catch A Fire, and the old favorite D.A.N.C.E. below.

CFCF Night Bus ll Mix
I knew I was missing out on something big not listening to CFCF's mixtape Night Bus II when it dropped early November. Still I was too impatient to listen through it all. Finally I got my senses together, and after hearing it all I must say it's so much better than expected. Night Bus II is the idea of taking a night bus, evoking that certain feeling - long pans of beatiful darkened landscapes passing by, headlights refracting of the window, comfortably tilted seats, alone among other sleepy passengers - transforming it all into a dreamy soundscape, in it's uttermost romantic viewpoint that is. It's a soothing journey you don't want to miss out on. Stream it below or grab the download via Soundcloud.

Common
The fourth single from Common's upcoming full-length, The Dreamer, The Believer, has landed and it's pretty swell. Compared to the last single, Sweet, and the former collab, Ghetto Dreams, with Nas, this is a much more laid back piano-driven track crowned with Common's unmistakable flow. The Dreamer, The Believer drops December 20.

Dj Shadow x Little Dragon
Everything Little Dragon (read Yukimi Nagano) touches seems to turn into gold. The new collab with Dj Shadow is no exception. Maybe no surprise considering Nagano's mind blowing voice and Dj Shadow's experience of beatmaking, stretching over a decade back. The visuals to Scale It Back is quite a treat as well. It features the mysterious mental story of card memorizer Ben Pridmore, brought alive in a one shot video.

Remember Gotye, the Belgian-born, Australian based, singer/ songwriter/ sampling moniker of Wouter De Backe. Since his super hyped single, Somebody That I Used To Know, surfaced early this summer the single has received five times platinum sales and the #1 position on the Australian iTunes store, making it one of the highest-selling singles of 2011. Today's cut from the multi-instrumentalist, State Of The Art, is quite different from Somebody That I Used To Know, and shows the diversity and uniqueness of Gotye.
