Common ft. John Legend

The anticipation and expectations keep growing. Here's the latest release from Common. Album drops on the 20th.

Common - The Believer (Ft. John Legend)

Wake Up

“These songs sound so relevant now. On most of them, you wouldn’t change a lyric. Wake Up Everybody (albumets första singel med Melanie Fiona and Common som är en cover på Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes låt med samma titel) has four verses—the first one is a general statement, the second is about education, third is about health care, and the fourth is about making a better environment. No editing needed.” - John Legend

“When these songs were written, people were more spiritually in tune. It was fresh from the civil rights era and there was a feeling of hope that maybe, yes, someday we will all be free. In 2010, not so much.” - Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson, trummis i The Roots.

Liten parantes - The Roots, som tidigare i år släppte sitt nionde studioalbum How I Got Over, har sen början av 2009 synts som husband i Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Slut parantes.
