The Shins - Port Of Morrow

The release of The Shins‘ Port of Morrow is tomorrow (20/3), and below is a bonus track that will not appear on the album. Pariah King features some experimentation from the band, with James Mercer altering his voice and a swelling background unlike the usual melodic accompaniment we get from the band. It makes sense that this one didn’t fit on to the album, but it makes for a great bonus cut.

If you haven't heard Simple Song, the first single from the album, make sure to check it out below.

The Shins

Finally, after five years of being away from the scene (while frontman James Mercer released an LP and EP with producer Danger Mouse under the moniker Broken Bells.) - The Shins are back with the first single from their upcoming album, Port Of Morrow. Listen to the first single, Simple Song, below.

Port Of Morrow is set to be released on March 20.

The Shins - bluegrass style
